The festival will use the transformative power of art to communicate the vital role sexuality plays in how we relate to the world. Through visual arts, performances, workshops and more, we will inspire participants to view sexuality, and their own personal sexual growth, as a path to understanding, joy, and fulfillment in our lives.
We envision a world healed of the wounds of separation, shame, and judgment around the very nature of what it is to be human. We are born to be lovers; it is part of how we connect with each other, giving and receiving comfort and love; it is the only way we continue as a species.
Just as humanity has elevated the act of preparing and eating food from a means of survival to an art form and means of communion, so can we elevate sexuality from procreation to a sublime and beautiful way of bringing love, connection, and pleasure into the world.
We see the possibility of hundreds of festivals around the world and offer the work we are doing as a template for future endeavors. It is our dream to be a part of this new awakening and to help birth this new consciousness. We vow to have a lot of fun doing it!
